Skills Portfolio for Youth
This portfolio is designed to support young people in understanding well-being and developing competences that can help them feel better in their daily lives. It introduces the concept of well-being in a simple and accessible way and explores seven key domains: Physical, Social, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual, Occupational, and Self-Identity.
For each domain, the portfolio provides definitions and examples of skills, knowledge, and attitudes, serving as a self-reflection and self-learning tool that helps youths recognise their strengths and identify areas for personal growth.
Skills Portfolio for Youth Workers
This portfolio is aimed at youth workers and supports their professional development in promoting young people’s well-being and mental health. It builds on the principles of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and highlights the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and intentional learning environments.
The portfolio presents the 11 Characteristics of High-Quality Youth Work, offering practical guidance on the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to strengthen professional practice and effectively promote well-being among youths.
